Lady Liberty is my image of a great, strong, and welcoming lady who stands tall in the New York City harbor. She stands for freedom, tolerance of differences, opportunity, vision, and is a beautiful work of art, made of copper and inspiration. The Statue of Liberty was a gift from the French people commemorating the alliance of France and the United States during the American Revolution. From time to time, we have our differences with France, but this great symbol reminds me of our friendship and cooperation. I chose this composition as it is the image that appears to me the most when I think of the Statue of Liberty. I have the pillow in my family room and people love it. God Bless America in her troubled times, as you have done in the past.
