I cut this flower at the end of the day before the sun slid behind the horizon. Within an hour the flower would have closed for the day. There was a burnt yellow hue behind the flower which I cut. I incorporated that burnt yellow into the painting here. I hope it gives you pleasure. A friend purchased this painting on a pillow and it was amazingly beautiful.
