This is a favorite photo of mine that embodies the American tradition of Halloween with family. The "superman" is my grandson Trey with his two cousins Melony and Jamie after starting their evening at our house. My husband or I one would sit outside and pass out candy until 8pm. Then it was lights out!
About Margaret Harmon
As a painter, my goal is to inspire, not just reproduce a subject on a canvas. I like my colors bold with subjects drawn in large, generous forms. I want my work to touch the inner impulse and passion of my viewers. To me, producing art is liberating. Whether I work directly from a perceived subject, plain air, or abstractly, I am most concerned about the work's overall composition and formal aspects. My colors tend to be bright and bold.
