Our throw pillows are made from 100% spun polyester poplin fabric and add a stylish statement to any room. Pillows are available in sizes from 14" x 14" up to 26" x 26". Each pillow is printed on both sides (same image) and includes a concealed zipper and removable insert (if selected) for easy cleaning.

A vision came to me one day and I sketched it out, found the lace, and took old sheet music from my library to make this picture. The young lady in the photograph is unidentified. Based on the style of the furniture, the young lady's hair style and her clothing, the time the photo was taken was between early 1940 and early 1950. She appears to be reading a book and I can see her lost in memories. She hears music from a time similar to what she is reading and she sees herself in a fine satin dress covered in lace. Her mind floats back to a special time of piano music playing, of laughter and all while she is wearing a lace covered satin dress. The room where she sits is full of "Floating Memories". The sheet music, like the photo, gives a hint of the time period, but is elusive of a specific date. Piano keys are slightly revealed through part of the lace from her dress and part of a partial treble and a base clef float on the canvas as to illustrate the thoughts going thro...
As a painter, my goal is to inspire, not just reproduce a subject on a canvas. I like my colors bold with subjects drawn in large, generous forms. I want my work to touch the inner impulse and passion of my viewers. To me, producing art is liberating. Whether I work directly from a perceived subject, plain air, or abstractly, I am most concerned about the work's overall composition and formal aspects. My colors tend to be bright and bold. Bright colors make me happy, and I aspire to convey that feeling to my viewers and customers. I am a native of Sikeston, Missouri, and a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, with a BS in Historic Preservation.
