This is one of my favorite crock flower pots and I have painted it before. I enjoy the texture of the pot and the flowers change annually. It has a somewhat romantic quality to it with the mixed flower and floral green spinners draping to the grown.

As a painter, my goal is to inspire, not just reproduce a subject on a canvas. I like my colors bold with subjects drawn in large, generous forms. I want my work to touch the inner impulse and passion of my viewers. To me, producing art is liberating. Whether I work directly from a perceived subject, plain air, or abstractly, I am most concerned about the work's overall composition and formal aspects. My colors tend to be bright and bold.
