Product Details

Our luxuriously soft beach towels are made from brushed microfiber with a 100% cotton back for extra absorption.   The top of the towel has the image printed on it, and the back is white cotton.   Our beach towels are available in two different sizes: beach towel (32" x 64") and beach sheet (37" x 74").

Don't let the fancy name confuse you... a beach sheet is just a large beach towel.

Artist's Description

This painting was painted for the Heritage Ranch in Zachary. A place for youth in transition or some crisis in their lives. The hat, boots and shotgun belong to my son-in-law, Robert Havard.. I photographed the wagon wheel from an arrangement at the entrance of the ranch. The wheel is leaning against the wall which is thirty-six inches from the blue wall. I experimented with the use of several different blues. The first group of residence will be boys and that makes me think of blue. I painted something that eight to eighteen boys might enjoy and gain comfort from in the composition and colors. Research has proven that a soothing piece of art can calm jungle animals, so why not boys. May God be with this painting and the youth that come to view it over the next twenty years or so.

About Margaret Harmon

Margaret Harmon

As a painter, my goal is to inspire, not just reproduce a subject on a canvas. I like my colors bold with subjects drawn in large, generous forms. I want my work to touch the inner impulse and passion of my viewers. To me, producing art is liberating. Whether I work directly from a perceived subject, plain air, or abstractly, I am most concerned about the work's overall composition and formal aspects. My colors tend to be bright and bold. Bright colors make me happy, and I aspire to convey that feeling to my viewers and customers. I am a native of Sikeston, Missouri, and a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, with a BS in Historic Preservation. I had an interesting career in travel and...
