Our throw pillows are made from 100% spun polyester poplin fabric and add a stylish statement to any room. Pillows are available in sizes from 14" x 14" up to 26" x 26". I cut this flower at the end of the day before the sun slid behind the horizon. Within an hour the flower would have closed for the day. There was a burnt yellow hue behind the flower which I cut. I incorporated that burnt yellow into the painting here. I hope it gives you pleasure. A friend purchased this painting on a pillow and it was amazingly beautiful.
As a painter, my goal is to inspire, not just reproduce a subject on a canvas. I like my colors bold with subjects drawn in large, generous forms. I want my work to touch the inner impulse and passion of my viewers. To me, producing art is liberating. Whether I work directly from a perceived subject, plain air, or abstractly, I am most concerned about the work's overall composition and formal aspects. My colors tend to be bright and bold. Bright colors make me happy, and I aspire to convey that feeling to my viewers and customers. I am a native of Sikeston, Missouri, and a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, with a BS in Historic Preservation. I am amaze at how beautiful it turn out to be from a painting. This is my third painting transferred to as pillow and each one gets getter.
