It is more often hot in Louisiana than it is cool and is rarely cold. I had some paints left from another painting and wanted to expand on my Susanna series and this is the result. I saw a little girl sitting on the beach in this position and decided that is the way Susanna would pose for me. Hope you like it.
About Margaret Harmon
As a painter, my goal is to inspire, not just reproduce a subject on a canvas. I like my colors bold with subjects drawn in large, generous forms. I want my work to touch the inner impulse and passion of my viewers. To me, producing art is liberating.
