Our throw pillows are made from 100% spun polyester poplin fabric and add a stylish statement to any room. Pillows are available in sizes from 14" x 14" up to 26" x 26". I recently went to my friend Cora Lee's home for a look at her large garden. She had the usual tomatoes, cucumbers and the like but she also had a row of large sunflower. Shown here are just two of her many flowers planted within the rolls of the fruits and vegetable. The longer pedals on the lower sunflower on the right was missing leaving the flower to look like this. These flowers were captured on a bright sunny day and I tried to recreate that feeling.
As a painter, my goal is to inspire, not just reproduce a subject on a canvas. I like my colors bold with subjects drawn in large, generous forms. I want my work to touch the inner impulse and passion of my viewers. To me, producing art is liberating. Whether I work directly from a perceived subject, plain air, or abstractly, I am most concerned about the work's overall composition and formal aspects. My colors tend to be bright and bold. Bright colors make me happy, and I aspire to convey that feeling to my viewers and customers. I am a native of Sikeston, Missouri, and a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, with a BS in Historic Preservation.
